Origin story
Gnosis started in 2015 as a prediction market project inside ConsenSys, founded by Martin Koppelmann and Stefan George. Its April 2017 token sale raised about 12.5 million dollars in minutes.
Gnosis later built the Safe multisig wallet, which became its own company, and Gnosis Chain, an Ethereum compatible chain secured by GNO staking.
