Origin story
Ethena is a protocol founded by Guy Young that issues USDe, a synthetic dollar backed by crypto collateral hedged with short futures positions. ENA is its governance token.
USDe opened to the public in February 2024 and ENA was airdropped to users on April 2, 2024.
