Origin story

Pyth is an oracle network that publishes price data supplied directly by exchanges and trading firms. It began on Solana in 2021 and now serves many chains.

The PYTH token launched with an airdrop on November 20, 2023.

Founders: Started with Jump Crypto and a group of trading firms; governed by the Pyth DAO.
