Origin story
Starknet is an Ethereum layer 2 network built by StarkWare, whose founders include Eli Ben-Sasson, a co inventor of STARK proofs. It batches transactions and proves them to Ethereum with zero knowledge proofs.
The STRK token was airdropped on February 20, 2024.
Founders: Eli Ben-Sasson, Uri Kolodny, Alessandro Chiesa and Michael Riabzev of StarkWare.
