Origin story
Flare is an Ethereum compatible layer 1 founded by Hugo Philion and Sean Rowan, with built in oracle and cross chain data protocols. FLR was first promised to XRP holders in a December 2020 snapshot.
After long delays, the FLR token distribution began on January 9, 2023.
