Origin story
Nexo is a crypto lending company founded in 2018 by Antoni Trenchev and Kosta Kantchev, with roots in the Bulgarian fintech Credissimo. The NEXO token gives holders better rates on the platform.
In January 2023 Nexo agreed to pay 45 million dollars to settle SEC and state charges over its Earn Interest Product.
