Origin story
Jito runs a liquid staking pool and MEV infrastructure for Solana, founded by Lucas Bruder and Zano Sherwani. JitoSOL lets users stake SOL while keeping a tradable token.
The JTO governance token was airdropped on December 7, 2023, one of the events that brought new attention to Solana.
