Origin story
Curve Finance, founded by physicist Michael Egorov, is a decentralized exchange designed for swapping similar assets like stablecoins with low slippage. Its CRV token, launched in August 2020, introduced the vote escrow model many protocols later copied.
Curve also issues its own stablecoin, crvUSD.
