The XRP Ledger starts, and 100 billion XRP are created.

The XRP Ledger began running in June 2012. All 100 billion XRP were created at the start rather than mined over time. Because of an early bug, the first few thousand ledgers were lost, which is why the public history starts at ledger 32,570.
There was no market price at this point.
